Shimla, June 19 – A week after BJP’s protest in Chamba district about murder of a Dalit youth brutally (by a alleged man belonging to minority) a video making rounds in Social media in which police allowing BJP leader to meet Victim’s family member.
Day before the protest BJP youth activists set the house of accused on fire, police did not allow the BJP leader to go to house of victims but now Video indicated that police didn’t stop BJP leader to meet victim’s family.
Bindal said they have former MLA and senior responsibile leader with them who would accompany them. The Superintendent of police was hearing stating that they could go but BJP leaders want to go the house of victims along with large number of people which police didn’t allow and letter imposed section 144 of CrPC.
Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that BJP is playing petty politics on the murder case, moreover, the suspect was arrested by the police.
He said SIT have been constituted by the police to probe crime and murder of Dalit activists but settings of the alleged accused home on fire shows that BJP leader is doing heinous Politics on the shocking crime.
Former chief minister Jai Ram Thakur blamed Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu government for not permitting leader of opposition to met victim family.
