Una: Alcohol-Induced Rampage at Hotel and Regional Hospital Causes Chaos

Una, August 5: A person, heavily intoxicated with alcohol, created havoc at a hotel in Mehatpur, Una. After causing a commotion, the individual went on a rampage at the Una Regional Hospital. During the incident, not only did the person break the hospital’s windows, but also verbally abused the female specialist and the health staff present. The hotel owner promptly informed the police about the situation. The police managed to control the intoxicated person and took them to the Una Regional Hospital for medical assistance. However, even at the hospital, the person continued their unruly behavior by breaking more windows and resorting to foul language.

According to the duty-assigned female specialist, Sahil Bali, in a drunken state, started creating a ruckus while at the Una Regional Hospital. He became aggressive and verbally abused me and other staff members. Not only that, he started throwing and breaking items in the emergency ward. Despite attempts by health workers and the police to stop him, Sahil Bali managed to break the glass near the main gate with a punch and escaped.

Una’s Police Superintendent, Arjit Sen, stated that a complaint has been lodged against Sahil Bali by the hotel owner and the female specialist. The case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. Further action will be taken as the investigation progresses.
