Two Indian Army Soldiers Martyred in Ladakh Rockfall Tragedy

Ladakh, July 31 – In a heartbreaking incident in the rugged and icy terrain of Ladakh, two Indian Army personnel lost their lives after heavy boulders suddenly fell on their vehicle. The tragic accident also left two officers and several others injured.
The martyred soldiers have been identified as Lieutenant Colonel Bhanu Pratap Singh Mankotia and Lance Dafadar Daljeet Singh. Both were highly respected in their native villages and had dedicated their lives to the service of the nation.
The Indian Army and local administration have extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Their mortal remains will be brought to their respective hometowns, where they will be accorded full military honours in their final rites.
