Tribute to Martyrs with “One Tree in the Name of a Hero” Theme at LRB B.Ed Institute, Solan

LRB B.Ed Institute, Solan, paid heartfelt tribute to the brave Indian soldiers martyred in the recent India-Pakistan conflict through a patriotic plantation drive under the theme *“Ek Ped Veer Ke Naam”* (One Tree in the Name of a Hero).

During the event, student-teachers sang patriotic songs in remembrance of the courage and sacrifice of the fallen heroes. Each student planted a sapling as a symbolic gesture of gratitude and to reaffirm their commitment to environmental preservation.

Principal Dr. Nisha stated that Indian soldiers laid down their lives in service to the nation, and remembering them through nature conservation is a meaningful tribute. She emphasized that the true spirit of the campaign will be fulfilled only when everyone plants at least one tree.

All faculty members also pledged their dedication to environmental protection and encouraged every trainee to plant a tree in honor of a martyr.
