Tree plantation & blood donation camp organized on the birth & death anniversary of Dr Prem Singh

Dr. Prem Singh’s contribution to the development of Shri Renuka Ji Assembly constituency will always be remembered – Deputy Speaker of the Assembly
Nahan, September 23. Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Vinay Kumar, along with his family, garlanded the statue of former Chief Parliamentary Secretary and MLA from Renuka Assembly Constituency, late Dr. Prem Singh, at the Dr. Prem Singh Memorial Stadium in Maina Bagh on the occasion of his birth anniversary and death anniversary.
Vinay Kumar gave the message of Green Himachal, Happy Himachal by planting Amla tree in the memory of late Dr. Prem Singh.
On this occasion, he noted that the late Dr. Prem Singh was formerly the Chief Parliamentary Secretary in the Himachal Pradesh Government and a six-time MLA from the Renukaji Assembly constituency. He paid heartfelt tribute to the late Dr. Prem Singh on this occasion and said that his contributions to the development of the Renukaji Assembly constituency will always be remembered.
Earlier, Himachal Pradesh Assembly Deputy Speaker Vinay Kumar inaugurated the blood donation camp organized in the memory of late Dr. Prem Singh at Civil Hospital Dadahu and on this occasion he said that blood donation is a great donation and everyone should come forward to donate blood without hesitation.
Blood donation by any person gives life to the needy.
He said that every year on this day, a blood donation camp is organised by Youth Congress and NSUI in memory of the birth anniversary and death anniversary of Dr. Prem Singh.
Vinay Kumar’s son Arya Kumar also donated blood on this occasion.
Vinay Kumar also presented certificates to the blood donors for their invaluable contribution.
At this blood donation camp, 46 people voluntarily registered to donate blood, and 38 units of blood were collected.
During the blood donation camp, Dr. Nishi Jaswal informed that the Empowered Women Campaign is also being run in Sirmaur district from September 17th to October 1st, 2025, in which people are being encouraged and registered to donate blood. So far, 161 people have registered during this campaign and 98 units of blood have been collected.
