Shimla, February 7: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shimla, Anupam Kashyap, has directed trainees working in various government offices under the Computer Application and Allied Activities program of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment to submit daily reports. The initiative aims to enhance trainees’ proficiency in government work.

Under this initiative, trainees will spend 15 days learning at the District Magistrate’s office. The program benefits SC, ST, OBC, minority groups, widows, single women, and persons with disabilities aged 18 to 35 from families with an annual income of up to ₹2 lakh. Trainees undergo a one-year course at recognized institutions like NIELIT and C-DAC, followed by a six-month placement in government offices. During training, they receive a stipend of ₹1,000 per month and ₹1,500 per month during placement, while specially-abled trainees receive ₹1,800 per month.

DC Kashyap emphasized that the daily report system will ensure trainees gain real benefits from the scheme. The reports will be signed by department heads and submitted monthly for review by the DC office.
