Tragic Incident During Construction Work at Kiratpur-Nerchowk Tunnel-1

Bilaspur, September 25: A laborer lost his life while another was injured during work at portal number two of the under-construction Tonnel-1 on the Kiratpur-Nerchowk four-lane highway in Himachal Pradesh.

According to initial information, while the laborers were working, there was a sudden falling of debris and stones, resulting in the death of one person, while another was admitted to Anandpur Sahib Hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred around 3:00 PM. The deceased has been identified as Arjun, who was a laborer from Nepal. It is reported that the deceased and the injured person are relatives. Upon receiving the information, the police promptly reached the scene and initiated an investigation. DSP Vikrant also rushed to the site after being informed of the incident.
