Tourism MD Rajive Conducts Surprise Inspection at Gufa Ashiyana, The Ridge

Shimla, July 11, 2024 — Rajive, Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh Tourism, carried out a surprise inspection at Gufa Ashiyana on The Ridge today. The inspection uncovered multiple instances of negligence, prompting immediate administrative actions to uphold standards of hygiene and customer service.
During the inspection of the kitchen, Rajive discovered that three workers were not wearing caps, a clear breach of hygiene protocols. The kitchen in-charge has been directed to issue show-cause notices to the workers for their negligence.
At the Ashiyana Fast Food Cafe, three employees were found sitting on chairs and using mobile phones instead of attending to customers. This disregard for customer service standards led the in-charge to be instructed to issue show-cause notices to the negligent staff members.
To ensure accountability, Rajive has requested video recordings of these incidents to be sent to his office by tomorrow. This documentation will be reviewed to facilitate appropriate actions against those responsible for the lapses.
“The surprise inspection at Gufa Ashiyana highlights the importance of maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer service. It is imperative that all staff members adhere to the established protocols to provide a safe and pleasant experience for our visitors,” Rajive stated.
