Three ND&PS Cases Registered in Shimla and Solan: Heroin Seizures and Arrests
1 min readIn a significant move against drug trafficking, Himachal Pradesh Police registered three cases under the ND&PS Act in Shimla and Solan, leading to the recovery of heroin (locally known as chitta) and the arrest of several individuals. In the first case (FIR No. 195/24), filed on November 4 at PS West, officers seized 7.5 grams of heroin and arrested Kamlesh Kumar and Jitender Kumar, both residents of Arki, Solan. In a second case (FIR No. 196/24) registered on November 5, PS West officers seized 8.33 grams of heroin, leading to the arrest of Suman, Ritik, and Parwati Devi, all from Downdale, Fagli, Shimla. Meanwhile, the third case (FIR No. 151/24), registered on November 5 at PS Rohru, involved the recovery of 4.61 grams of heroin and the arrest of Hrithik Rathore from Dodra, Shimla. These cases underscore the ongoing efforts by Himachal Pradesh Police to tackle drug-related offenses and enhance community safety across the state.
