Sahil Kumar, a beneficiary of Sukh Ashray Yojana, who met Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu during the ‘Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar’ programme in Gagret Assembly Constituency today, was in tears while expressing his gratitude to the Chief Minister for the financial assistance and other benefits he received under the Yojna, which enabled him to pursue his higher studies. You are the only one who thought of the orphans and adopted us as the Children of the State, he said.

The Chief Minister assured him of other expenses as well, while he pursues his higher studies.   Another beneficiary Aasmeen,  said that she is doing ANM course at Himcaps College and said that the state government was fulfilling the responsibility of her parents. Chief Minister assured her financial assistance of rupees three lakhs to build a house and two lakhs for marriage, to make her stand on her own.

Shaurya Chakra winner Captain Sushil Kumar also thanked the Chief Minister for his farsightedness for getting the Revenue Lok Adalats organised due to which, his long pending revenue dispute got settled.

Sikandra Devi another beneficiary of Revenue Lok Adalat, thanked the Chief Minister for receiving money for the construction of her house.

The Chief Minister also interacted with other beneficiaries.
