THDC India Limited Partners with IIT Delhi to Drive Research and Innovation

Rishikesh, 20th October 2023: THDC India Limited and the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi have joined forces in a collaborative partnership aimed at advancing research and innovation in the fields of Science, Engineering, and Technology. The Chairman and Managing Director of THDCIL, Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, announced this significant partnership.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on October 12, 2023, THDCIL and IIT Delhi will embark on research studies, pilot projects, and consulting engagements led by the esteemed faculty members of IIT Delhi. This collaborative effort will encompass a wide range of research domains, including but not limited to energy conservation, alternative energy storage solutions, nanotechnology for electric vehicle batteries, green hydrogen, climate change, waste management, water conservation, and various other crucial areas.

THDCIL is committed to providing comprehensive financial support for operational expenses and research and development activities as part of this collaboration. In turn, IIT Delhi will offer essential infrastructural support and access to scientific and technical expertise, empowering the institute to undertake R&D projects aligned with their academic pursuits.

This collaboration represents a significant step forward in research, innovation, and technological advancement and holds the potential to yield groundbreaking solutions for various industries and domains. Sh. R. K. Vishnoi expressed the commitment to drive impactful research and development initiatives through this partnership.
