THDC India Limited Celebrates Hindi Month and Award Distribution Ceremony
1 min readRishikesh, September 30, 2024: THDC India Limited held a closing ceremony for Hindi Month and an award distribution event, where Chairman and Managing Director R.K. Vishnoi congratulated winners of various competitions held during the month and encouraged employees to conduct government work primarily in Hindi. On September 14, 2024, during Hindi Day, Vishnoi had previously appealed to employees to promote Hindi in their official tasks. He also acknowledged the “Rajbhasha Kirti” award received from the Ministry of Home Affairs, praising employees for their contributions toward excellence in human resources.
The closing ceremony, chaired by Director (Personnel) Shailendra Singh, commenced with a lighting of the lamp. Awards were given to officials and employees for their participation in competitions held throughout the month. Singh emphasized the significance of receiving the Rajbhasha Kirti award and urged employees to work in unity for national integrity and ensure adherence to the guidelines of the Rajbhasha department.
The program featured a report on activities conducted during Hindi Month by Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Deputy Manager (Rajbhasha). Winners of various competitions included Kiran Singh in Hindi essay writing, Anand Kumar Agarwal in noting and drafting, Ritesh Sharma in translation, and Amit Rastogi in poetry recitation. Additionally, Shubanshi Mani Tripathi and Gabar Singh Bagdi won in separate email competitions for executives and non-executives, respectively.
Employees were also recognized for their contributions to Hindi implementation, with ten Hindi nodal officers awarded for their efforts. The event concluded with the presentation of an inter-departmental Hindi trophy to the establishment section.
