Teachers Meet CM Sukhu, Demand Reversal of Rationalization Postings; CM Orders Relief

Shimla, May 11, 2025 — A delegation of teachers affected by the recent rationalization process met Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at his residence under the leadership of Dr. Mamaraj Pundeer, former State Secretary of Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh. The delegation urged the Chief Minister to cancel the transfers of teachers who had already joined new schools under the now-suspended rationalization orders.

Dr. Pundeer stated that over 200 teachers had reported to their new postings before the government revoked the orders. Responding to their concerns, CM Sukhu directed the Education Department to annul all such transfers and instructed the Director of Education to provide relief to the affected teachers.
