Suresh Kashyap Thanks PM Modi for Major Financial Allocations to Himachal

Shimla, March 25 – Former BJP state president and MP Suresh Kashyap met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi and expressed gratitude for the significant financial aid and developmental projects allocated to Himachal Pradesh.
He highlighted that under the Shakti Sadan Yojana, ₹47.45 lakh has been sanctioned for the state government, along with an additional ₹12.5 lakh for implementation. Kashyap also shared that 5,961 applications from Himachal have been received under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, which provides central financial assistance of ₹33,000 per kilowatt for rooftop solar installations.
In the past two years, Himachal Pradesh has received ₹8,447.92 crore in central assistance for various projects, including police modernization, urban development, and housing schemes. The Smart City Mission received ₹198.50 crore, AMRUT scheme ₹104.20 crore, and PM Awas Yojana (Urban) ₹27.61 crore. Kashyap credited the Modi government for its continued support in strengthening infrastructure and public welfare initiatives in the state.
