Supreme Court Stays Disqualification of MLAs in CPS Case
1 min readShimla, November 22, 2024: The Supreme Court has stayed the disqualification of MLAs in the Chief Parliamentary Secretaries (CPS) case. It ruled that Paragraph 50 of the Himachal Pradesh High Court judgment will not operate, and no immediate action will be taken against the MLAs.
The court has granted two weeks’ notice for further proceedings. The next hearing in the matter is scheduled for January 20, 2025.
