Sukhu Government’s Equation in Disarray: Ravinder Singh Ravi

Senior BJP leader, five-time MLA, and former minister Thakur Ravinder Singh Ravi launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, suggesting that instead of worrying about BJP candidates in the by-elections, Sukhu should focus on his own government, which is on the verge of collapsing. Ravi asserted that the Sukhu government’s political strategy has failed since the Congress came to power, leading to disarray.
Ravi criticized Sukhu and his party’s use of inappropriate language in the Dehra Assembly constituency, alleging that Sukhu has created an atmosphere of fear in Dehra to secure a win for his wife. He claimed that the people of Dehra are ready to retaliate on July 10. According to Ravi, BJP candidate Hoshiar Singh has emerged as a formidable leader, having previously been elected twice by the people of Dehra with significant majorities. He confidently stated that Hoshiar Singh is poised for another victory in the by-elections.
Ravi accused Sukhu of becoming the first chief minister constantly under threat, delivering derogatory speeches in his public addresses. He stated that the Sukhu government has halted the development of the state, focusing instead on benefiting Sukhu’s close associates. Labeling Sukhu as a “contractor of lies,” Ravi argued that Sukhu is making unrealistic promises to the people.
Highlighting Hoshiar Singh’s popularity, Ravi mentioned that the people of Dehra are well aware of Singh’s contributions compared to Sukhu’s 15-month tenure. He concluded by saying that neither Sukhu nor his wife would be seen in Dehra after the election results, emphasizing the local support for Hoshiar Singh.
