Sukhu Government Drowning in Debt, Busy Enjoying Power: Hoshiar Singh Explodes

Dehra, July 4, 2024: BJP candidate from Dehra, Hoshiar Singh, criticized the Sukhu government, stating that there is no guarantee that the ten promises made by the government will be fulfilled. In just 15 months, the Sukhu government has taken huge loans amounting to thousands of crores and is only busy enjoying the power while the public is struggling with problems.
Hoshiar Singh pointed out that during the disaster, the central government provided crores of rupees to the Sukhu government to offer financial assistance to the state’s people, yet instead of thanking the central government, Sukhu criticized it. He added that the so-called “system change” Sukhu has been talking about involved shutting down 1,000 government institutions opened by former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur for public convenience.
He accused Sukhu of making development promises in Dehra only because his wife, Kamlesh Thakur, is contesting elections from there. Hoshiar Singh predicted that if Kamlesh loses the election, the people of Dehra will see Sukhu disappear. He accused the Congress party of gaining power through false guarantees, as even after 15 months, women in Himachal have not received the promised Rs 1500. The government has neither bought cow dung from farmers nor has any milk been sold at Rs 100 per kilo.
Hoshiar Singh said the 15-month tenure of the Sukhu government will be recorded as a dark chapter. He criticized Sukhu and his wife for their “low-level politics” and said that in the election season, they are seeing every person in Dehra as a relative. He stated that he won twice in Dehra due to the blessings and trust of the people, and he is confident that the people will elect him again with a significant majority.
He advised Sukhu that development is achieved through action, not by making noise and misleading people. He asserted that the people of Dehra are aware that the government, which could not deliver anything in 15 months, will not be able to provide anything in the future.
