Suicide Note Found in Case of Son-in-law Suspected of Being Burnt Alive in Mandi
1 min readIn a new development in the case of the son-in-law who was suspected of being burnt alive by his wife and in-laws, a suicide note has been found in the burnt purse recovered from the charred remains of the deceased, Navin, near the Badsar village in the Sarkaghat sub-division of Mandi district.
While the purse was significantly damaged due to the fire, the suicide note remained intact. The police have sent the note to the forensic lab for examination. The handwriting analysis will be conducted, and further investigation will proceed accordingly.
The entire incident occurred at the in-law’s residence in the Sain village. Navin, the deceased, mentioned in his suicide note, “I am distressed with my life. My wife and daughter are not with me. Therefore, I am taking this step. I request that no one be held responsible for this. My property should be given to my daughter.”
According to the ongoing police investigation, it has been revealed that Navin Bisleri had filled a bottle with petrol and carried it with him. He poured the petrol on himself and set himself on fire at his in-law’s house. During this incident, his mother-in-law also got burnt, and she is currently undergoing treatment at the Narchowk Medical College. The police are examining all aspects of the case to ensure a thorough investigation and address any lingering doubts. The case has been registered under section 302, and the police are meticulously considering every angle in the ongoing probe.
