Successful Blood Donation Camp Organized at IEC University
1 min readBaddi, Solan, November 20, 2024 – A one-day blood donation camp was successfully organized at IEC University, located in Atal Shiksha Kunj, in collaboration with Shiv Sewa Kawad Mahasangh Charitable Trust. The camp, held as part of Pharmacy Week celebrations, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff, collecting a total of **78 units of blood**.
Dr. Pravesh Kumar Bhardwaj, representing the trust, expressed his happiness in partnering with IEC University for this initiative, emphasizing its positive impact on society.
Professor (Dr.) Ashok Puri, Vice-Chancellor of IEC University, highlighted the significance of blood donation, calling it the “greatest donation” and urging more individuals to participate in such noble causes. He also mentioned the university’s commitment to regularly organizing such events to foster social awareness among students.
The event was graced by the presence of the university’s registrar, department heads, deans, professors, and other officials.
