Students Should Take Sports as a Profession – Vikramaditya Singh

Shimla: Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh inaugurated the Under-19 Block Level Sports Competition at Mulbari School, urging students to consider sports as a career. He stressed that sports instill teamwork and help youth avoid drug addiction. Fifteen schools are participating in the three-day event featuring Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Badminton, and Judo. Singh also announced ₹5 lakh for Mulbari Panchayat’s development and highlighted government efforts to legalize hemp cultivation for economic growth.
