Students Interact with HP Assembly Speaker, Learn About Parliamentary System

Shimla, August 27 – Students of Saraswati Paradise International Public School, Shimla, and Government Senior Secondary School, Annadale, visited the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Secretariat and met the Speaker, Shri Kuldeep Singh Pathania. During the interaction, students asked questions on the parliamentary system, the functioning of the Assembly, and the election of the Speaker, which were answered in detail.

The Speaker also quizzed students on democracy, the Constitution, and the history of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly. He explained the federal structure, multi-party system, government formation, and the process of electing the Speaker. Shri Pathania also invited students to witness the Assembly proceedings and encouraged them to contribute to nation-building.
