Students Expand Career Vista With Jay Prakash University

Shimla, July 23- Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, Solan organized a career counselling session for the students of schools and colleges of Himachal Pradesh at Gaiety Theatre here today.

A team of experts from different departments of JUIT were available in Gaiety to counsel the students from different schools and colleges. Nearly 50 plus student took part in the session and checked for various options available to them in future.

Parents also accompanied students to interact with the faculty members to clear their doubts about their ward’s career prospects in various stream of engineering, mathematics and sciences. It was a detailed session for seeking information about the admissions in BTech, BSc, MTech, MSc and PhD programs in multiple disciplines.

Specific fields of interest included BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering with Computer Applications, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. BSc in Mathematics and Computing. MTech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering and Biotechnology. MSc in Biotechnology and Microbiology. PhD in all the above mentioned streams along with Mathematics, Physics and Materials Science and Humanities, Management and Social Sciences.
