Strict Vigil on Law and Order During Budget Session – District Magistrate

Shimla District Magistrate Anupam Kashyap chaired a meeting with district administration and police officials to ensure smooth law and order during the Himachal Pradesh Assembly Budget Session 2025, scheduled from March 10 to March 28. He emphasized strict monitoring and coordination among officials to prevent any disruptions.
The district administration has divided Shimla into five sectors, while the police department has created ten security sectors around the assembly complex. CCTV, drone cameras, and CID coordination will be deployed for surveillance.
Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi assured that a comprehensive security plan is in place, with sector officers assigned to key locations for internal and external security.
