State’s Wrestlers to Showcase Skills in International Grappling Competition in Moscow
1 min readIn a historic moment, 11 young wrestlers from Himachal Pradesh are set to participate in the International Grappling Competition taking place in Moscow from November 17 to 20. The athletes, ranging from 10 to 20 years of age, will represent the state on the global stage, showcasing their talent and skills in the competition.
Amit Verma, the Vice President of the Grappling Association of Himachal Pradesh, shared that this marks the first time the state is participating at the international level in grappling. Among the participants, two wrestlers, aged ten years, will be the youngest contenders from Himachal Pradesh. The selection of these athletes for the international event follows their commendable performance at the national level, bringing recognition to the state in the grappling community.
The Grappling Association of Himachal Pradesh expressed pride in the achievements of these young athletes and hopes that their participation will not only inspire others but also bring glory to the state in the international arena. The contingent of 11 wrestlers, accompanied by two coaches, is set to travel to Moscow to compete and represent Himachal Pradesh on the global grappling stage.
