State-Level Beneficiary Honor & Awareness Program Preparations Complete

Dharamshala, March 7: The state-level Beneficiary Honor and Awareness Program will be held on March 8 at Chambi Ground, Shahpur, to mark International Women’s Day. Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Thakur and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania reviewed the preparations and directed officials accordingly. The event will be attended by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu as the chief guest.
The program will recognize women and self-help groups excelling in social service. Departmental exhibitions will showcase government welfare schemes for women, and self-help group products will be displayed for branding. Cultural programs themed around women’s empowerment will also be featured.
CM to Inaugurate ₹40 Crore Development Projects
During his visit, CM Sukhu will lay the foundation stone for Maharana Pratap Bhavan in Durguela. He will also inaugurate several road projects, including:
- Laleta to Banu Mahadev-Dhanotu Road (₹11 crore)
- Dhanotu via Bad Basti Road (₹4.41 crore)
- Banala to Rulehar Road Upgradation (₹19.86 crore)
- Ridkmar to Kuthrana Road (₹5.47 crore)
