State Govt. got supreme relief from Supreme Court in CPS Case: Naresh Chauhan
2 min readShimla’ 22 November- Naresh Chauhan, Principal Media Advisor to Chief Minister Himachal Pradesh said here today that we welcome the decision of Supreme Court regarding CPS matter, which is relief for the State and also a victory of the people of Himachal as well as to the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
Attacking on BJP leaders of the State, Naresh Chauhan said that some BJP leadere were making tall claims of disqualifying the six elected MLAs by referring to Para-50, but this decision has silenced them and put a complete stop.
He said that Himachal’s case has been clubbed with the pending cases of other states. Now all these cases will be heard together and the next hearing has been fixed for January 20. This issue also came up in the Supreme Court that in the CPC case of Manipur State, the MLAs were not disqualified and on the same pattern, the case of Himachal Pradesh has also been reserved.
Principal Media Advisor said that the elected government of the State was completely safe and there was no threat to it.
Attacking the BJP leaders, Chauhan said that some people of BJP were constantly trying to destabilize the state government of the State, but their intentions will never be fulfilled. He said that BJP’s operation lotus has already failed in which they were badly humiliated. The winning of six Congress MLAs was a result of the Chief Minister’s far-sightedness and the public welfare policies and developmental programmes of the State Government on which the people of the State expressed their trust in Sukhu Government.
Referring to the issue of closure of 18 hotels of Tourism Development Corportion, Naresh Chauhan said that in this matter, the State Government had presented its case in the High Court and as a result of which orders have been issued to re-open nine hotels of the corporation. He said that matter was under consideration and appropriate steps will be taken after the report of the committee constituted to re-open nine other hotels. He said that the interest of the offices, employees and stakeholders of Tourism Corporation were completely safe and they need not to fear.
He said that the present government was not responsible for this consition of the hotels of the Tourism corporation, rather this situation has arisen today due to the mismanagement of the previous BJP Government.
Naresh Chauhan said that state government was boldly facing the challenges which it had inherited from the previous BJP government and all efforts were being made to overcome them. He said that present state government was moving towards making the state self-reliant by 2027.
