Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh emphasized the importance of standards in delivering high-quality facilities, products, and services at both global and national levels. Addressing a World Standards Day event organized by the Bureau of Indian Standards in Baddi, Solan, Singh stressed that standards play a key role in improving the quality of life, protecting the environment, and conserving water. He called for the adoption of BIS-established values and highlighted the essential role of standards in facilitating global trade and economic development.
