St. Thomas’ School Shimla Hosts Student-Led Conference and Annual Exhibition

The event was a vibrant display of creativity, knowledge, and innovation.
The occasion was graced by **Chief Guest** Professor Meenakshi Faith Paul, Principal of Evening College and Management Member of St. Thomas’ School, and **Guest of Honour** Dr. Sandeep Chauhan, Associate Professor of Chemistry at Himachal Pradesh University.
The Student-Led Conference featured various interactive corners where younger students displayed their creative abilities. Some notable exhibits included:
– Elga Corner: Focused on language skill development.
– Science Corner: Showcased experiments like pinhole cameras and reflections.
– Social Science Corner Explored history, geography, and culture.
– Maths Corner: Presented engaging mathematical concepts and problem-solving exercises.
– Robotics & STEM (ROBO): Demonstrated innovations such as 3D printers, paper circuits, musical robots, and LED light sensors.
For classes 9-12, the Annual Exhibition highlighted creative models in science, social science, and mathematics. The Art and Education Corner provided an opportunity for students to express their creativity and learning, with students displaying a wide range of artistic endeavors.
Parents attended the event, expressing delight at witnessing the students’ hard work and dedication. Principal Vidhupriya Chakravarty expressed her pride, stating, “We are thrilled to provide a platform for our students to explore their potential and showcase their talents.”
