St. Edward’s School Wraps Up 12th Inter-School Sports Tournaments with Spirited Finals

St. Edward’s School, Shimla, concluded the 12th Inter-School Bishop Gilbert Rego Football, Brother Steinmeyer Basketball, and Brother Walsh Table Tennis Tournaments 2025 with a spirited display of athletic excellence and camaraderie. The tournaments, held from October 14 to 17, brought together six participating schools, celebrating teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The competitions were inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Anil Sequeira, Principal of St. Edward’s School, with the Brother Walsh Table Tennis Tournament introduced as a new addition this year.
In an exhilarating finale, St. Edward’s School clinched the Football Championship, while Roots Country School, Baghi, triumphed in the Basketball Tournament. The Table Tennis Tournament also witnessed remarkable performances, with players displaying exceptional skill and sportsmanship.
The Football winners were felicitated by Mr. Gaurav Gupta, the Basketball champions by Mr. Umesh Akre, and the Table Tennis winners by Fr. Robert.
The week-long sports fest not only celebrated victories but also nurtured values of perseverance, discipline, and healthy competition among young athletes—reflecting the true spirit of St. Edward’s School.
