St. Edward’s School Leads Tree Plantation Drive for Environmental Sustainability at Kanlog and Shivpuri

Shimla, August 2, 2025 – Reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement, St. Edward’s School organized a successful Tree Plantation Drive at Kanlog and Shivpuri. The event, spearheaded by the school’s Eco Club in collaboration with the National Cadet Corps (NCC), witnessed enthusiastic participation from school cadets and students from neighbouring institutions.

Focused on ecological restoration and enhancing green cover in the selected areas, the cadets planted diverse species of saplings, contributing to the preservation of local biodiversity. The drive aimed to instill a deeper sense of environmental responsibility among students while promoting awareness on afforestation, climate change, and sustainable living practices.
