Spokesperson Vivek Sharma Calls for SIT Investigation into Madrasas Alleging Spread of Hate Education

BJP spokesperson Vivek Sharma raised concerns over madrasas, alleging they are teaching hate, fanaticism, and jihad to children. He highlighted a letter from the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) to all states and union territories, including Himachal Pradesh, stating that madrasas are obstructing the future of Muslim children by violating the Right to Education (RTE) Act of 2009. Sharma urged the Himachal government to conduct a police SIT investigation to examine the sources of madrasa funding, as he claimed they challenge secularism and national unity. He emphasized the need for madrasas to follow the national education model (NCERT syllabus) to ensure the fundamental rights of children.
