Special NSS Camp at Nauni varsity

A week-long NSS special camp began on Thursday at the Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni. Around 100 volunteers from the College of Forestry, Nauni are taking part in the camp.

Dean College of Forestry Dr CL Thakur and Dean Students’ Welfare Dr. Rajesh Bhalla were present during the inaugural session of the camp. Two panchayats- Oachghat and Nauni, have been adopted and various activities will be carried out by the volunteers in these panchayats during this camp.

On Friday, on the occasion of National Youth Day, a special screening of the National Youth Day programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was held for the volunteers. Later students also carried out cleanliness drive on the road from Oachghat to Nauni

During the camp, the students will be carrying out cleanliness drives on the road from Nauni to Oachghat and in the university campus. An anti-drugs rally and trekking cum cleanliness drive at Dharo-ki-dhar fort will also be a part of the camp.
