Special Meeting Held for PM Excellence Award 2024

Departments to Submit Reports by February 7

Shimla, February 3, 2025 – A special meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap was held to discuss applications for the Prime Minister’s Excellence Award 2024, recognizing exemplary work by civil servants across India.

DC Kashyap announced that all departments must submit detailed reports on their best initiatives by February 7, after which a final decision will be made on which departments will apply for the prestigious award. The online registration process has already begun, with the deadline set for February 14, 2025.

Departments have been instructed to submit proposals under specified categories on the official portal [https://pmawards.gov.in/](https://pmawards.gov.in/).

Three Award Categories
The awards will be given in three categories:
1. Five districts excelling in 11 priority programs will be honored for holistic development.
2. Five aspirational blocks will be recognized.
3. Six central ministries, departments, states, and districts will be awarded for innovation.

Each award includes a trophy, a scroll, and a ₹20 lakh incentive.
