Special Detection Team Foils Major Charas Smuggling Attempt in Bilaspur

Bilaspur, December 3: A Special Detection Team intercepted a significant charas smuggling operation near the Tihra Tunnel on the four-lane highway at Sannoti. During a search, the team seized 960.29 grams of charas from a taxi, arresting Dharam Chand (31), a resident of Mandi district. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act at Ghumarwin police station. The police are investigating the source and intended destination of the seized contraband.
