Special Checkpoint Set Up in Hamirpur Under Road Safety Month

Hamirpur, January 17. On the occasion of Road Safety Month-2026, the SDM office Hamirpur, in collaboration with the police, launched a special campaign on Saturday. SDM Sanjeet Singh said that to ensure compliance with traffic rules, a special checkpoint was set up near Dain in the Ukhli-Maid area on Saturday and vehicles were checked. During this, action was taken as per rules against drivers who drove at over speed, those who used mobile phones while driving, those who did not put reflectors on the back of trucks, tractors and trolleys, and drivers who violated other traffic rules.
