The campaign commenced with a preparatory phase on September 15, 2023, focusing on identifying targets for cleaning initiatives during the campaign period. The main campaign was officially launched on October 2, 2023, and will run until October 31, 2023.

During the preparatory phase, the DoPPW and Central Government Pensioners’ Associations identified 50 cleanliness sites nationwide. Additionally, the Additional Secretary (Pension) at DoPPW inspected all the identified cleanliness sites within the office premises. He directed senior officers to exert their best efforts to achieve the campaign’s goals.

As part of the “EkTareekh-EkGhanta” national-level “Swachhta Hi Sewa” program, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (PP), along with Sh. V. Srinivas, Secretary (Pension), and other officials from DoPPW, participated in Shramdaan (voluntary work) and planted trees at Nehru Park, Niti Marg, New Delhi. Daily progress is being closely monitored by a dedicated team and is being shared on the SCPDM portal hosted by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances.

The campaign has made significant progress in identifying its targets. This year, the department has set a target to address 5000 Public Grievances and 600 Public Grievance Appeals. A total of 1358 physical files and 883 electronic files have been earmarked for review and closure during the campaign. To promote awareness about the campaign, the official media handle of the Department has posted more than 50 tweets on social media platforms like Twitter.

The Special Campaign 3.0 is in full swing, with dedicated efforts to achieve the set targets, making strides toward a cleaner and more efficient department in line with the objectives of Swachhta Hi Sewa.
