108 Agniveers Graduate from AGNIPATH Scheme
Solan, August 5: In a grand Passing Out Parade held at the historic Salaria Stadium of 14 Gorkha Training Centre Subathu in Himachal Pradesh, 108 Agniveers successfully completed their 31-week intensive training under the AGNIPATH Scheme of the Indian Army. The event marked the first batch to pass out after completing the rigorous training program.
Brigadier RS Rana, the Commandant of 14 Gorkha Training Centre, reviewed the parade and congratulated the young soldiers on their successful completion of training and their excellent performance in the parade. The occasion witnessed a spectacular military parade, along with Pipe Band, PT (Physical Training), and Khukri display. With a commitment to preserving the proud tradition of nurturing outstanding soldiers, 14 Gorkha Training Centre remains one of the country’s premier training institutions.
It is worth mentioning that the validation parade for the Agniveers was conducted in June. On Saturday, the Agniveers took an oath during the impressive program organized at the Salaria Stadium of 14 Gorkha Training Centre in Subathu. These pass-outs have completed a rigorous 24-week intensive training that commenced on January 1.
The training included ten weeks of basic military training covering various aspects of military life, followed by advanced training in physical activities, tactics, operations, firing, physical fitness, sports, night navigation, map reading, and more. August 5th is yet another historic day for the Indian Army as over 20,000 Agniveers have been trained and graduated from more than 40 centers across the country.”
