Solan Police Station Ranked Among Top Ten in the Country

The Sadar Police Station in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, has achieved recognition as one of the top ten police stations in the country for its outstanding performance. The ranking was announced during the annual DGP/IGP Conference-2023. The Solan Sadar Police Station was honored with a certificate for its commendable work in various areas such as N.D.P.S. (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) cases, law and order, revenue collection, speedy disposal of cases, passport-related matters, arms management, and warrant execution.
According to this ranking, Solan Sadar Police Station stands as the first in the state of Himachal Pradesh and is among the top 10 police stations in the entire country. The team, led by SP Solan Gaurav Singh, has been acknowledged for their exceptional work. The Solan Police team has successfully apprehended criminals, including those involved in the Chitta (narcotics) cases, from both within the state and other states. Cases related to Chitta involve criminals from local as well as foreign origins. Additionally, several arrests have been made in the liquor smuggling trade, and prompt action has been taken on court matters as well. SP Solan attributed this achievement to the hard work of his team and extended congratulations to the Solan Sadar Police Station in-charge and the entire team.
