SJVN organized Health Camp for Sanitation & Construction Workers at CHQ, Shimla

SJVN is observing Swachhata Hi Sewa 2024 in all its Offices and Projects from 17th September to 2nd October 2024. As part of the campaign, SJVN organized a Health Camp at its Headquarters in Shimla today. This initiative highlights the company’s commitment towards health and well-being of sanitation and construction workers. A total of 81 workers deployed by various contractors in CHQ, Shimla benefitted from this health camp.
The event was graced by Director Personnel (designate), Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma and Executive Director (HR), Sh. Chandra Shekhar Yadav. They appreciated the initiative that strengthens SJVN’s commitment to prioritize welfare of its workers and foster a healthy work environment.
The health camp was organized in collaboration with Deen Dayal Upadhyay Govt. Hospital, Shimla, Helpage India and Lifecare Laboratories. The workers attending the health camp underwent Comprehensive Health Assessments that included Blood Tests such as CBC, Thyroid Function, Lipid Profile, Liver Function, Renal Function, as well as screenings for HIV and Tuberculosis, alongside general health check-ups.
Further in this series, a Follow-up Health Camp is scheduled on 27th September 2024, where Medical Specialists will review health reports from this camp and provide medical consultation for holistic health of the workers.
SJVN, under its CSR framework, is dedicated towards various developmental activities focusing on Health and Hygiene, Education and Skill Development, Infrastructural Development, Disaster Assistance, Sustainable Development and Promotion and Preservation of Culture and Sports.
