SJVN expresses gratitude to Union Minister of Power for Navratna Status

On momentous occasion of SJVN having been granted prestigious Navratna status, Management of SJVN Sh. Sushil Sharma, CMD, Sh Akhileshwar Singh, Director Finance and Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director Personnel (designate) called upon Hon’ble Minister of Power, Sh. Manohar Lal, Secretary Power, Sh. Pankaj Agarwal and Joint Secretary (Hydro), Sh. Md Afzal to express gratitude and seek further guidance.

During the courtesy meet, Hon’ble Minister of Power congratulated SJVN and also motivated to take the new responsibility as a challenge to further grow and contribute to nation building along with the pleasantries.

During the meeting, Hon’ble Minister emphasized that SJVN along with other Power CPSEs should develop a dedicated skill force specifically equipped in the field of Power Generation technologies. He further directed to put concerted efforts in Research & Development field and come out with innovative and out of the box solutions for cost optimization both in generation as well as transmission areas.
