Sirmaur: SIU sieze massive narcotics consignment

Sirmaur, Feb 10 – The Special investigation unit of Sirmaur District Police in Himachal Pradesh on Friday arrested a drug smuggler, making a siezure of 9 kg 824 grams of charas from him.
Police Superintendent Sirmaur Raman Kumar Meena said that the accused has been identified as Prempal, a resident of Dodra Kwar district Shimla.
The SP said that Charas was being carried from the vehicle when police recovered the huge catch on the basis of information. The SIU laid a trap to intercept the accused at Dhaula Kuan.. Police immediately arrested the car driver and registered a case. The police have started the investigation by registering a case against the accused under the NDPS Act.
