SILB students in top merit in H.P.U. Shimla

Himachal Pradesh University has declared the B.Sc (Hons) Microbiology and Biotechnology final year results. Like SILB tradition of previous years , the students of SILB have performed exceptionally well this year too. Microbiology’s Harsha scored 96.8%, Deepali 93.7%, Janvi 92.3%, Ankita 89.8% and Archana 87.7%, while Biotechnology’s Muskan scored 95.4%, Aradhana Joshi 93.0% and Simran 89.8% ranked in top merit. All the meritorious students gave the credit of their success to the teachers of the Institute and thanked them. Dr. Shalini Sharma, Director SILB, Head of the Department of Microbiology, Dr. Divya Tandon and Head of Department of Biotechnology, Dr. Meenu Thakur congratulated all the students for their excellent results. Chairperson, Mrs. Saroj Khosla said that from this year, SILB has introduced research in undergraduate courses of Microbiology and Biotechnology as both are research based disciplines and have immense potential. She also said that the interest of students has increased in these subjects since last few years. She congratulated all the the meritorious students, faculty and parents and wished for the bright future of the outgoing students.
