SILB shines with 20 gold medals and 200+ merit positions

Himachal Pradesh University has released the final year results for M.Sc. Biotechnology and M.Sc. Microbiology.
For the third year in a row, students from the Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB) have won university gold medals in M.Sc. Biotechnology and M.Sc. Microbiology, as well as numerous merit 16 positions.
Vibha Verma, an M.Sc. Microbiology student, received a Gold Medal in the academic year 2020-2022 with 80.9%. Kanchan Bala, Ajay Jamwal, Nitika Kumari, Anandita Sharma, and Monika Chauhan have been awarded top ten merit positions in M.Sc. Biotechnology for the 2018-2020 academic year. Anjali and Nitin Kumar maintained their great academic records by getting 9th and 10th merit seats in M.Sc. Biotechnology in the 2019-2020 academic year. Mehak Mehra and Twinkle Gupta obtained 84% and 78% merit ranks, respectively.
Students from the Microbiology department have brought laurels to the Institute by winning various merit positions. Rashmi Suriyal and Rishav were ranked third and tenth in the 2018-2020 academic year. Tsering Palmo placed fifth and Anup Kumar Sinha placed third in Himachal Pradesh University. In the current session, Divya earned the fourth merit place in M.Sc. Microbiology, continuing the history of academic achievement.
Saroj Khosla, President SILB, and Dr. Shalini Sharma, Director SILB, congratulated the students on their achievements. Dr. Meenu Thakur (Biotechnology) and Dr. Divya Tandon (Microbiology) praised the efforts of their respective departments’ students and teaching faculty for this outstanding performance.
