The Governor of Himachal Pradesh has approved the promotion of Shravan Kumar Himalyan, Food & Supplies Officer (Class-II-Non-Gazetted), to the position of District Controller (Class-I, Gazetted) in the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department. The promotion, effective immediately, is under Level-16 of the Pay Matrix (₹48,700-1,54,300) as per HPCS (Revised) Pay Rules, 2022.
Himalyan will serve a probation period of two years and is entitled to exercise his pay fixation option under FR-22(I)(a)(i) within one month. He has been posted as District Controller in Sirmour at Nahan, filling a vacancy, in the public interest.
