Shoolini University students perform Ramleela at Manav Mandir

The students of Shoolini Creative Studio from Shoolini University brought the ancient epic of Ramayana to life through a captivating 90-minute performance of Ramleela at the Indian Association of Muscular Dystrophy (IAMD), also known as Manav Mandir, to spread joy and inspiration among the children and families affected by the condition.
The performance portrayed the history of the Ramayana, bringing joy to those suffering from muscular dystrophy and their families. Their excitement and dedication were visible throughout the performance, making it a memorable occasion.
Several muscular dystrophy warriors, many of whom were on wheelchairs, joined the stage to enact key scenes from the Ramayana. Their courage and passion created an inspiring and emotional highlight of the event.
Mrs. Poonam Nanda, Director of Sustainability and Community Engagement at Shoolini University, who organised the event, shared, “The performances were not only entertaining but also inspiring and delivered a strong message for these remarkable individuals,” she said.
Mrs. Nanda further added that student volunteers of Shoolini University have visited Manav Mandir in the past to uplift the children and their families. This event also exemplified the university’s commitment to community engagement and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
The trustees of Manav Mandir praised the students for their efforts and acknowledged their role in spreading happiness and positivity among the patients.
