Shoolini University Strengthens National Standing with Improved NIRF 2025 Rank

Solan, September 4 – Shoolini University has once again emerged as Himachal Pradesh’s highest-ranked university in the NIRF 2025 rankings announced by the Union Education Ministry. The university climbed one spot to 69th in the Universities category, while also securing the 44th rank in Pharmacy, reaffirming its growing reputation in higher education.
Shoolini is the only university from Himachal Pradesh to feature in the top 100 universities, underscoring its academic, research, and innovation excellence. In the Overall category, the university was placed in the 101–150 band, and also achieved recognition in the Engineering (101–150 band) and the newly introduced Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) rankings (11–50 band), reflecting its strong commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
Compared to NIRF 2024, where Shoolini stood at 70 among universities and 30 in Pharmacy, the university has demonstrated consistent progress this year.
Chancellor Prof. P.K. Khosla congratulated the Shoolini family and urged collective efforts to break into the Top 50. Pro Vice Chancellor Vishal Anand credited faculty, students, and staff for this success, emphasizing research and innovation as Shoolini’s core strengths. Vice Chancellor Prof. Atul Khosla highlighted the university’s global vision, stating that this achievement is proof of Shoolini’s commitment to excellence and its journey toward becoming a world-class institution.
