Shoolini University marks 16 glorious years with grand celebrations

The campus of Shoolini University came alive with celebration, energy, and inspiration as the institution marked its 16th Foundation Day with a series of vibrant events and inaugural ceremonies.
Delivering an inspiring address, Founder and Chancellor  Prof P K Khosla urged students, faculty, and staff to dream big and work passionately towards their goals. He said, “Whatever you want to achieve in life, dream about it and work with dedication to make it a reality. There will be challenges and difficulties, but with determination, everything is possible.”
On this occasion, his book “Whispers with Blossoms: A Journey Through Nature’s Soul” was launched, adding a literary highlight to the celebration. The book features a collection of exotic flowers captured across the Himalayan landscape by Swami Krishnananda Giri, a senior monk of the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India. Dr. Radha, Assistant Professor at the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences, Shoolini University, also contributed to the book.
Chief Guest Prof R C Sobti, Padma Shri awardee and noted educationist, appreciated the remarkable journey of the university, describing it as “beautiful in many ways” for its research, innovation, and commitment to sustainability. He lauded Prof. Khosla for making Shoolini University a unique institution and emphasised, “Our purpose in life is to serve society and protect the environment.
Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla congratulated the entire Shoolini community on the occasion and encouraged students to follow their passion, spread love, and contribute positively to society.
A vibrant cultural programme at the Open Air Theatre (OAT) brought together faculty, staff, and students, showcasing the talent and diversity of the Shoolini community. Later, M.S. Swaminathan Hall was inaugurated by Trustee Satish Anand, marking another milestone in the university’s infrastructure development.
A special highlight of the day was the inauguration of the IIT Ropar CPS Lab at Yogananda Knowledge Centre (YKC) by Prof. P.K. Khosla. The TIF (AWaDH), Indian Institute of Technology Ropar team joined the event to jointly inaugurate the CPS Lab, co-powered by AWaDH under the National Mission on ICPS, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The fundamental objective of this establishment is to promote Translational Research and Technology Transfer, strengthening collaborative innovation between institutions.
Representing IIT Ropar’s AWaDH team were Radhika Trikha, Chief Executive Officer; Mukesh Kestwal, Chief Technical Officer; Vardhman Jain, Senior Associate Manager; and Desh Raj, Project Manager.
Director Innovation and Marketing Prof Ashish Khosla, in his vote of thanks, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all faculty members, staff, and guests. He said, “There is nothing more powerful and joyful than knowledge. We are thankful to our teachers, scientists, and guests from IIT Ropar for joining us today. We look forward to achieving greater heights in the years ahead.”
On the occasion, nineteen researchers of Shoolini University, who were among the world’s top 2 percent scientists, according to a prestigious list released by Stanford University, were also recognised.
The celebration concluded with a traditional Dham at the Basketball Court, where the Shoolini family came together in a spirit of joy and togetherness. The 16th Foundation Day stood as a proud reminder of Shoolini University’s journey of innovation, excellence, and service to society.
