Shoolini University hosts delegates from University of Aberdeen, UK, for academic collaboration

Shoolini University welcomed a distinguished delegation from the University of Aberdeen, UK, to explore avenues for collaboration in education and research. The visit marked a significant milestone in promoting international academic partnerships, with discussions centered around student exchange programmes, faculty collaborations, and dual degree initiatives.
The delegation was led by Prof George Boyne, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Aberdeen, and Ms. Debbie Dyker, Director of People, University of Aberdeen. Their visit underscored the University of Aberdeen’s commitment to global engagement and academic excellence, as the institution currently holds an impressive #236 rank in the QS World Rankings.
As part of the visit, Prof George Boyne laid the foundation stone for Shoolini University’s Ecological Park, reaffirming the commitment to sustainability and green initiatives. He also inaugurated the Innovators’ Trail, a celebration of research, creativity, and groundbreaking ideas.
Strategic discussions were held to enhance international academic exchange.
Dr. Rozy Dhanta, Deputy Director Office of International Affairs Shoolini University, led the deliberations on expanding 2+2 programmes, dual degrees, and study abroad opportunities, aimed at providing students with a global learning experience. Additionally, Ms. Debbie Dyker, Director of People, University of Aberdeen, conducted an interactive session with B.Sc Global UOM + SRP students, sharing insights on career growth and international education.
The delegation was taken on a tour of Shoolini University’s state-of-the-art research centers, including the AI and Future’s Center, IPR, and Nanotechnology labs. The visitors expressed admiration for the university’s cutting-edge infrastructure and innovation-driven educational approach. Ms. Dyker particularly appreciated the breathtaking beauty of the campus.
Shoolini University and the University of Aberdeen are set to collaborate on high-impact academic initiatives. This engagement is expected to open new doors for students and faculty members, fostering academic excellence and international exposure.
