Shoolini University Excels at National Intellectual Property Conference in New Delhi

Solan, October 18 – Faculty members from the Intellectual Property Rights Cell at Shoolini University, along with students from the Faculty of Legal Sciences, participated in the 2023 Annual National Intellectual Property Conference in New Delhi. The conference focused on the theme “Nurturing the Growth of IP for the Knowledge Economy.”

The event saw the presence of prominent personalities, including Mr. Piyush Goyal, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Textiles, Government of India, and the Minister of State, Mr. Som Prakash. A special highlight of the conference was the insightful contributions by the Director General of WIPO, Mr. Daren Tang.

During the conference, Mr. Piyush Goyal shared visionary ideas that highlighted India’s leading position in innovation and intellectual property. The participants from Shoolini University, including Mr. Himansu Sharma, Senior Manager IP, and Mr. Pawan, IP Manager, proudly showcased the institution’s dedication to research and innovation.

The students and faculty members from the Faculty of Legal Sciences at Shoolini University actively engaged in meaningful discussions, shared valuable insights, and networked with some of the brightest minds in the field of intellectual property.

Shoolini University’s IPR Cell has consistently ranked within the top 10 in the IP India rankings for the past three years. This achievement stands as a testament to the university’s unwavering dedication to the protection and advancement of intellectual property.
