Solan, July 29, 2025:
A five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “AI Toolkit for Career Success” concluded at Shoolini University, empowering faculty from diverse disciplines with hands-on experience in integrating Artificial Intelligence into teaching, research, and academic workflows. Organized by the Shoolini Centre for Distance and Online Education (SCDOE), in collaboration with the Yogananda School of AI and The Learning Team, the FDP was led by Dr. Amar Raj Singh under the university’s Train-the-Trainer initiative.
The program offered practical sessions on prompt engineering, multimedia content creation, custom GPT building, and workflow automation. Faculty learned to design micro-lessons using AI-generated visuals, avatars, and voiceovers, and explored tools like NotebookLM for summarising dense academic content.
On the concluding day, Prof. Ashish Khosla, President and Chief Innovation & Marketing Officer, highlighted Shoolini’s commitment to AI-driven education and unveiled the “Five AIs of the Future” framework. He emphasized the role of Generative AI, Multimodal AI, and Agentic AI in revolutionizing education delivery and enhancing student engagement.
Faculty completing the FDP received certification and are now eligible to teach the university’s new 2-credit course “AI Toolkit for Career Success,” equipping students with essential, future-ready AI skills.
